My wife and I are both retirees who just want to stay healthy and enjoy our new Golden Retriever puppy, Rumple. I know this breed is the friendliest but because they grow fast and big, I was still worried that if I don't provide Rumple with proper training, I will not be able to handle him when he reaches his full size. I also recently had my knee surgery and I was looking forward to my morning walks with Rumple. Unfortunately, like most puppy owners, I too had to deal with my dog's high-energy. It does not help that he had a little touch of ADHD. He pulled on leash, jumped on us when he gets excited and sometimes just won't listen. I tolerated all these because he is very cute and adorable. But I also do not want to aggravate my condition so I searched for the best training school in Inland Empire. I checked out a lot of places but only Loyal K-9 made me feel the most comfortable. For one, David is a very experienced K9 handler. Like you, I had to see to believe so I visited his place with my family. Their well-kept home, thoughtful setup for kennels, crates, yard, and break area was a hint they know what they are doing. We had a bunch of questions, which David addressed. He was very patient and professional. He explained all the services they offer and even showed a live demo of what to expect from the boot camp. Their German shepherd Maverick IS the ideal dog and if our Rumple could be at least half as good as he is, I'd be very happy. I was extremely hopeful when I enrolled Rumple to their in-home/in-kennel boot camp. Loyal K-9 did not disappoint! They stayed true to their promise and I could not be any happier to see Rumple quit all his bad habits (jumping, play-biting, chewing, digging, barking, and leash-pulling). I often chase Rumple around because he was always after our slippers or stones from my yard. To see him get rid of all that was already amazing. But it did not stop there, Rumple can now reliably follow commands like come, heel, down, sit-stay, down-stay, crate, kennel, break, and walks politely on leash! I think there's more that I may be forgetting at the moment because there are also non-verbal cues like auto-sit. I was only able to get Rumple to down when I have treat. He is very treat-driven and I must admit I fed him more than necessary when I was training him that I ended up waiting for him to poop all day, scooping lots of poop everywhere in my yard, mopping his kennel every single morning. This was truly a lot of hard work that I was not sure I could fulfill 10 years from now. David showed us a better system that works by assigning a designated area and using the break command. It is unbelievable how much work that single command is saving me! Instead of worrying about my yard or Rumple, I can now enjoy pleasant walks with Rumple and my family. We received video update on Day 1. This was totally unexpected because David told us Rumple might need to adjust first yet they made progress with him right away. David was very transparent with his training methods, he shares video updates. I don't know of any boot camp that would do that! Surprisingly, he does not rely on treats unlike other trainers! He is saving us money for dog treats and food. What he's done with Rumple is very impressive, I'd even call it a miracle because I know my Rumple before he attended boot camp and the Rumple we got back was just incredible! I am a very satisfied customer. In fact, I look forward to doing business with Loyal K-9 again. If basic training was this great, I cannot imagine what else advance training can do to my Rumple. I am sharing this review because I know that if you care about your pet, you are looking to invest in training too. Look no further, go with Loyal K-9 but don't just trust me, see it for yourself! I'm sure you landed this page because you are also doing your research. This could be the wisest decision you could make for your family and your pet.
