                                       HEATHER HAMILTON PROJECT K9
                                   SOMEWHERE IN SOUTHERN UTAH REVIEW

Funny! This is Andrea Kaz of Dixie Springs Hurricane referring a so-called dog trainer to our community while she talks out of the side of her neck. If you remember, Kaz a few weeks ago trying to post herself on this FB page to IM herself based on an abusive dog training company but, did not want the post the name to lead back to her as she quoted “For fear of retribution and harassment.” Well Karma, just bit her and she is bringing down her friend with her now. She posted this on a FB page group named St. George UT Area Dog Parks. Let me be clear. She tried to slam my company now pending a slander and defamation of character lawsuit as we were able to go undercover as a guest and had a conversation with Kaz and will show her IM’s below of her hatred behavior that she was stupid enough to talk to us thinking we were a stranger while she was talking her smack about my company! This is now her third lawsuit by others and more recently from the city itself.

Let’s start with who she did/is recommending. Heather Hamilton. Hamilton owner of https://www.theprojectk9.com/  has no business license let alone any K-9 dog training qualifications or a facility/permanent location. Andrea Kaz is ruining this woman’s life style now by recommending her as a backfire to Kaz retribution to me. She just threw Hamilton under the bus and put her in the spot light for Kaz’s own selfish agenda to try and hurt my business. Kaz claimed she had spoken to my clients and they had nothing good to report and even claimed abuse. How could she possibly know my client list let alone claim abuse as I am a day training facility only? Clients have never seen my training methods and for sure I don’t believe in abusive training by using a shock/electric collar for training. But here is Kaz referring her community to an electric collar using dog behaviorist. You can see she is referring this lady to you, and you can see by the lower posts from Heather Hamilton’s web page she is clearly advertising the following. Heather (Project K9), uses shock collars for on leash training. Why? What’s the point of the E-collar when the dog is on a collar for correction? Seems to be just old school cruel and unusual punishment to the animal. Heather puts your dog(s) into small crates while she lives in a 5th wheel trailer. Dogs have no freedom to roam and play. No backyard or field to exercise. She has no training as a K-9 trainer let alone a license to train dog obedience. She is not a licensed dog trainer rather than an on-line certificate dog behaviorist. She has no business calling herself a K-9 trainer as K-9 is referred to as Military or Police professional dogs. Where are her credentials for that? How does she claim K-9 training when all her experience are on-line courses? K-9 training is attack/protection dog type of work. She can claim basic obedience training but that would also be a lie because she is not a dog trainer, she is a dog behaviorist. Ever see Cesar Milan (Dog Whisperer) tell a dog to sit? No! Why? He is not a dog trainer! She claims she paid $5G for a Cesar Milan training course but, I request the receipt for this trailer park dog behaviorist. Again, Cesar Milan is a dog behaviorist not a dog trainer. For example! I have trained over 70 dogs a year in my facility for the last 11 years, I trained and was an instructor for over 27 police department K9 units with a military K-9 handler background. Kaz keeps recommending her but yet never in my day have I ever used a shock collar. Project K9 puts a customer’s dog in a crate in a 5th wheel trailer with the risk of her children be put in harm’s way as she claims to take on aggressive dogs while restricted to trailer park rules. Keep reading on as I post my facts as Kaz put this poor lady into the cross hairs and used her as a pawn to think that Hamilton was better than this actual licensed dog trainer. Blame Andrea Kaz for making me expose this company trying to make a living versus trying to secretly slam my licensed legitimate company that has a solid base company and does not operate out of a trailer park, 5th wheeler. Read on below and then search Heather Hamilton for any good reviews. Let me lead the way…. Let’s look at her review while operating out of a trailer that moves all over the state according to her website. Makes me think “Where is my dog?” No stability! K-9 definition is reserved for trainers and people licensed to train actual K-9. Heather is a dog behaviorist and not a dog trainer, let alone an advanced K-9 trainer in any way, shape or form. Give thanks to Andrea Kaz for exposing this shock collar trainer as she operates out of her trailer on her move to move, site to site trailer park locations with no stability for her business. Now here is the proof of why Heather Hamilton is being trashed with facts due to Andra Kaz actions. This is what Andrea Kaz posted last month on this post and tried to advertise herself to slander me and try to commit defamation of character and this is why she is in her third lawsuit for her actions. I post facts and expose liars. I represent my company and I will not let some Chicago parking meter maid try to expose my company any different. Andrea Kaz in Dixie Springs with already a law suit against her by the city and her ACC, and now a lawsuit by me is trying to advertise that my licensed dog training company is below a single mother living in a trailer, in a trailer park using a shock collar named Heather Hamilton is better than me? LOL! Oh please! Here are the reviews of Heather Hamilton. I am sorry Heather, but you can blame Kaz for this one! She is doing more damage to your survival and company than helping you and your family. IM me anytime. She just used you for personal use.

                                                  Meet Heather Hamilton
                                                  DOG BEHAVIOR EXPERT

Heather Hamilton is a dog behaviorist not a dog trainer. It is important to know the difference. Her method of behavior is to electric shock the dogs when they do something wrong. An electronic collar puts out 1.25-1.3 amps. That is at a minimal a 12 volt shock or putting 15 watts into your dog’s neck than can cause stress, bodily harm, Diarrhea and skin damage on the animal. That’s animal abuse!

This research stems from Andrea Kaz that tells and lies to people that I keep the dogs in a garage with no A/C. She failed to drop the information the dog(s) are in a 12’x6’ kennel run not a crate (Better than outside in 110+F weather) with a 1.5 ton mini A/C split and hourly play breaks and training. I have a big backyard for dogs to play (with water misters to drop the temperature from 100F to 85F while they run around and exercise), and break area for my dogs. Andrea Kaz is referring people to this person while Kaz is talking bad about me trying to slander and defame my company. Heather Hamilton with no business license, no website and a handful of reviews and strict dog living conditions in her 5th wheel trailer in a trailer park with limited space or the dogs to play and exercise, while Kaz is referring this E-collar dog behaviorist Heather Hamilton that is keeping the client’s dog in a traveling crate that can be as small as 28” length x 20.5” wide x 21.5” tall up to a biggest crate Petco offers is 40” length x 27” wide x 30” tall. Hmm, let’s do the math. Dogs are shocked at minimal 12 volts and then shoved into crates in a 5th wheel trailer. H.H. posts this on her own website and has numerous ridiculous demands before your dog can qualify to live in these conditions for training. One of the requirements or qualifications are “No serious behavioral issues” Heather also continues on by saying that her small child lives with her as well. Anybody want to do that math? Aggressive dogs around a child in a trailer park in a trailer park jammed into a crate with an electric collar shocking the animal. Sounds like a good formula and unsafe environment for a child to get hurt in. Maybe child services should look into this and make sure the children are safe from strangers dogs and their aggressiveness. Read on what she has to say about her company at “Project K9” that she is posting on her own business website. I cut and pasted a few here below. She has these qualifications and rules because she has rules in the trailer park where she stays at. That’s why the bark collar (also a self-activation electronic collar device), so she doesn’t get into trouble with the park itself for dog barking and being a problem to the park. Read on to what she has to say…..

“We are currently traveling around the state of Utah in a 5th wheel trailer and staying in trailer parks offering In-home Private Lessons and Board & Trains from the comfort of our dog-friendly RV in the areas we are visiting! If you are outside our service area, we recommend signing up for either Virtual Sessions or our Online Training Course! We can train you and your dog from anywhere!”

                                                *QUALIFICATIONS*

Due to limited space, RV park rules, and traveling with a child, we are very selective on what dogs we accept into our board & train programs.
Limitations include:
  • Dogs up to 40 lbs
  • Must be crate & potty trained
  • No excessive barking
  • Must be good with dogs and kids/babies
  • NO AGGRESSION
  • No serious behavioral issues. We can handle this in private lessons. (i.e. aggression, anxiety, fear, hyper-arousal, separation anxiety, severe destructive behavior)

Sounds like the above rules are anything but short of the perfect dog or a well behaved dog with no aggression, potty trained, no barking, be good with other dogs and kids/”BABIES” and no serious behavior issues… So, what does she teach then because that sounds like a good perfect dog to me and she is charging $1400 or more to train an already good, well behaved, potty trained dog. What else is there to teach this kind of dog? She teaches “behavior modification only” according to her classes and courses she takes on line. She does not teach the dog to sit, down stay, etc. That’s the difference between a dog trainer and a dog behaviorist. More research in Heather Hamilton goes on as you read along. When she claimed she has a certificate with the IACP. Below you will see “No results found” when you search their data base to see if she has a current certificate on file with them. She doesn’t. Results were copied and pasted here for your reading.

When I searched her name for one of her certificates on website IACP where she claimed to have a certificate here was her results.

no results found for Heather Hamilton.

  • 2014: Graduated Marc Goldberg‘s ForceFree workshop (E-Collar aka “E-Touch”)- LOL- this is cracking me up that Andrea Kaz is telling people that her conditions are better than mine? We have never used Electric therapy for training. All her courses are Electric collar training. Basically, shocking the dog when it does wrong. Animal abuse to me. But Kaz keeps referring her and she also fosters dogs. Can imagine what is going on in that home of hers with her own dogs if she thinks electric collars are good. Let’s continue on with this resume of great referral that Kaz wants to endorse.

2014: Training Cesar’s Way Fundamentals I- This program starts at $4,900 with a $500 deposit for a 40-hour seminar. I would love to see that paid receipt or certificate. I am pretty sure you get a photo with Cesar when you graduate for that amount of money but not bragging rights of a photo with him on her FB page. I would look for it on her professional business website but she does not have one.

Heather has Zero Yelp reviews and only Google business reviews like this as I posted below. I have 70 perfect 5 star yelp reviews and does not operate out of a trailer along with a few google business reviews. here is what customers have to say about Heather and Project K9.

Heather is a very nice girl and gave us some good tips for helping our dog. But after 3 sessions and not seeing much progress we decided it wasn't worth the cost. Heather called our dog 'stubborn.'
But the thing that we are most disappointed about was when we left on a vacation we boarded our dog with Heather. Heather lives in a residential area and uses a bark collar so the dogs don't disturb her neighbors. When we came back from our trip, we found sores all along our dog's neck from the bark collar.
If you are looking for a place to board your dog, consider a place that won't shock and torture them for barking.

Critical: Value
Super underwhelmed. After my vet recommended Project K9 I signed my new puppy up. Paid $1400.00 and in the end about all my dog learned was sit, place, drop it, and leave it. I thought I was going to end up with a well-mannered dog. For this kind of money, I feel I should have gotten more. My dog is now two and a half and we had to pay to do other training that was a lot less money. She chases after our cats so she can’t just be in the house out of her kennel without supervision. I adore the trainer but for the money I wish I had gone to a competitor. Makes me a bit sick to think of the money spent and what I received.

Maybe the next time somebody tries to ruin a reputable company for personal reasons and then throws and refers a E-collar trailer/trailer park boarding non-company, they might want to think what the cost will be to the referral and the consequences when they try to trash another company that is legit. Kaz just did more damage to Heather Hamilton’s “so-called” company then she did to mine. I am still 3 months booked in reservations. Nice job! Thank you for the publicity! #AndreaKaz #A5isdead #RicardoRiveraIsDeadWeight

Why do dogs lick your face?

2/6/2020

Some might find this answer a bit ‘icky’, but it is fascinating all the same. A wild or feral dog, and some house dogs as well, when weaning their pups from milk to solid food, begin by regurgitating chewed up food for them. Hungry puppies will lick their mom’s face to stimulate them to regurgitate. That’s where the face licking instinct begins. Obviously, your dog is not licking your face for the same reason, but that early instinct gets tied up in a love bond and knowing that humans have taken on the mom’s role of loving and caring and providing for them. That lick is their way of expressing that they know that, and love you for it.

This was a 100F day in the sun and as you can see 94F in the shade. A client had asked me how much of a change does a mister actually cool the area down. Well, Here ya go! I run the misters for 30 minutes, came back and took a temp reading. It went from 94F to 80.5F. I'm happy with that.

I Choose Life

Hopefully a little motivation for your Monday. From my perspective, success is not defined by monetary gain or vanity. Rather, living a life filled with happiness and quality. So many have sacrificed everything to build and maintain the foundation of this country that allows us to pursue happiness and freedom. We must live in their honor, so please do not forget that if your journey leads to you a dark place, it's okay to ask for help from your brothers and sisters. Be courageous, choose life.Rangers Lead The Way.Thanks to Offset Films for helping me put this together.
