Here we go again with dogs freaking out because the human/owner fails to socialize their dog. So here is a video and sound track to help you give your dog a better chance this year... Just got the good news... Liberty Mutual Insurance and USAA will now authorize Loyal K-9 or any other AKC Evaluator to submit the paperwork for the Canine Good Citizen Course. What does this mean for you?? If your dogs breed is on this list below, your home insurance can drop you instantly.. BUT, I have said it before and I will say it again, It's not the breed! It's the owner!!! So if you have a breed on this list and are hiding your dog from the insurance, you can now contact your insurance company and ask them if they will waive that list if your dog completes the AKC Canine Good Citizen Course (CGC). We charge $35 for the evaluation and test. If your dog passes we will give your the form to mail into your insurance company to get your dog off the "No dog list". We can be reached at 951-333-2901 to schedule your appointment and test. FYI-- When you call you may want to start your conversation with "Hello, I was looking into purchasing a dog and it's a ***Breed***. Do you guys have that dog on the blacklist and if so will you waive it if I was to get a AKC CGC certificate for my dog?" Pit Bull Terriers Staffordshire Terriers Rottweilers German Shepherds Presa Canarios Chows Chows Doberman Pinschers Akitas Wolf-hybrids Mastiffs Cane Corsos Great Danes Alaskan Malamutes Siberian Huskies Julia is learning the Loyal K-9 methods of training so she can be her own trainer someday. This is the train the trainer program. She is learning on multiple dogs this month so she gets a large realm of different dog behavior, temperament and how to learn that each dog is like a person or character. No two are the same. Unlike competitors, they train you on a "already trained" dog. You will never learn to be a good and true dog trainer if they give you a robot dog. She has to learn from scratch. Julia has started at the bottom as a Kennel Technician AKA Pooper scooper for our kennels to learn proper diet, feeding, health, temperament, transferring dogs around the kennels while learning the basics to dog training. She has now began her next stage of training of actually training dogs from the start on raw day 1 with all the bad habits they came with. That's how you train a dog trainer, not in a class with a book, on the same already trained dog over and over again. This is raw all hands on training and today she got to train 2 dogs in German commands along with all hand commands and non-verbal commands. Julia will be a bigger asset to our company then she has already been in the past. |
