We took our dogs to David at Loyal K9.  Within the first couple of days, we could tell a big difference in our dogs behavior from the videos he sent us upon request of our dogs progress.  The "off/down" command is a wonderful thing.  We are thoroughly impressed with the level of training we received.  David is courteous and efficient.  I would recommend Loyal K9 to anyone who wants great training by someone who genuinely knows and cares about dogs.

Dave is a friendly person and takes good care of our dog. Our stubborn dog learned quickly and he now listens to both my husband and I after he completed his boot camp. After my dog Buddy completed his boot camp Dave has been flexible in dog sitting and Dave is very dependable and i can always trust that my dog is taken good care of. Love that I found his business and hope others can give him the opportunity to train your dog.

Dave is a miracle worker.  We sent our 5 month old corgi, Sheba, to his 3 week boot camp.  Smart dog, VERY stubborn. With our busy schedules, we knew we didn't have the time to commit to training her ourselves.

Dave let us know to watch the videos on his website to get an idea for the training (since he would be training us when we pick her up).  We could not even imagine Sheba doing any of the things in the video, but Dave certainly loves to prove the skeptics wrong... and he did!!

When we came to pick up Sheba, he went over the basic training with us, then did a demonstration with her to show us what she can do.  We were amazed!  She knows both verbal and some nonverbal commands for sitting, staying, heeling, laying down, and more.  He trained her on both a 6ft leash and a 30ft leash.  

After his demonstration, he took us out to train us how to keep up with her training at home.  The first 72 hours upon her return are vital, as she is very susceptible to going back to her old ways.  So far, so good!  Dave will come back out to our house in a week or 2 to follow up and make sure all is good.

Dave's home is clean and well kept.  We felt very comfortable leaving her there.  Dave was also really great about sending us picture updates since we missed her so much!

I adopted a pitbull mix about a month ago. I had her a week and immediately knew she needed training. She pulled terribly on a leash and barked at every dog and person we would walk by. I wanted the best for her and I didn't want people to fear my dog Ukki. I also feared she was dog aggressive. I did some online researched and found loyal k-9. All the reviews were convincing but what sold me even more was when it called David. He was so intuitive and really listened to my concerns.

That being said we set up a in home assessment. David came and got to witness all of my problems an concerns with Ukki right away. We went for a walk and she was terrible and embarrassing (pulling me around, taking ME for a walk). David took the reigns on the way home and only had to correct her twice before she was heeling for him. I was pretty amazed because he did this all in front of a house with a snarling, mean guard pitbull distracting her.

We talked about our concerns more back at the house and Dsvid explained the training. I was SOLD and he took her that day. She completed the 3 week training program with David and I got her back about 5 days ago.

The training of me, the human went well. It was a lot and a little overwhelming but she listened very well to me and the commands. When I took her home I was warned she may test her limits and try to go back to her old ways and believe me she tried!

Her training with me is going well. I still have some work to do on myself as being Alpha, but I'm getting there. She still occasional barks at other dogs but David is great with answering any questions if I call or text. I got her back five days ago and I think I have talked to David everyday with a new question, he isn't ever annoyed and is always so helpful. Thank you to loyal k-9 for training Ukki and myself. We would be a mess without you!!

After a traumatizing experience with a previous private trainer, a former Navy Seal recommended David to me. As a Military and EOD dog handler, David is extremely knowledgeable and experienced, as well as wonderfully patient. My dog, a German Shepherd, learned quickly under David's guidance and instruction and even passed the test for "Canine Good Citizen". I would recommend David to anyone and already have to several friends and neighbors.
